The oldest of the local manifestations of the mold of the folk tradition, with a huge audience and is a well-established tradition in the life of the historical center of the city.
The festival is characterized by a series of initiatives which are of particular importance in the historical parade in costume and the Palio of the Goose.
The Palio of the Goose is the climax of the festival and is a popular parody of the knights more noble to which the people could not participate. The race consists in inserting the pointed end of a long wooden pole into the hole of a tub full of water located approximately three meters in height and in which is placed a goose fake, all standing over cart pulled by rope to step two.
He won the prize the contestant who, once past the first two careers qualification, you will impose on everyone else also qualified for the final career putting the stick into the hole several times.
