02/01/2017 – 02/02/2017 – Perugia (PG)

“This story is about Peter, a boy from the southern province, female born at the foot of Vesuvius, speaks in falsetto, has the wrong body and a passionate soul, influenced by the volcano.” The theater director and playwright Emma Dante in recent years has emerged for a physicality that tells stories, adventures and where words lose their function becoming sound, voice, body, too. In Operetta Burlesca director Palermo brings together a group of actors with whom he often collaborated, distilling the unique language and surreal that is the figure of his shows and the audience of Morley has already enjoyed last season with Le Macaluso sisters. The story of Peter, with his loves, his melancholy, his work in a gas station and his escapes from the province in Naples looking for space, anonymity, dresses and women’s shoes in which she feels more comfortable but he can only wear in the privacy of his bedroom condominium, appear the sonar of a company but, as explained in the Dante, even “one soul striptease.”
