In the small medieval village of Portaria there is the characteristic Umbria Festival of the Wild Asparagus, in conjunction with the historical re-enactment dedicated to Lucrezia Borgia.
Throughout the holiday period, from 11 to 21 May, starting at 20:00, you will be able to access the Taverna set up at the Elementary Elementary Park which offers the most respectful cuisine with a menu based on typical Umbrian products of the ‘ 400 and 500.
The rich schedule of events culminates with a series of events on the closing day of the event, with historical parades, flags and falconers, recalling the arrival of Lucrezia Borgia in Portaria in 1499.
