Mountain Men Live

02/17/2017 – Terni (TR)

After a little over a year from the intense Against The Wind, which already denotes a wider opening to a more electric side, and after eighty dates in 2015, the Mountain Men are back from October 2016 to tread the international stage with the ‘ album Black Market Flowers (Echo Production), distributed from 18 November.
They will not be alone: this new adventure will see them for the first time performing in quartet with Denis Barthe, the famous of Noir Désir drummer and producer of the disc, and Olivier Mathios (The hyènes) on bass. Two “purchases” that have helped to make the next tour by decidedly more rock accents! The recording of the disc was also attended by Estelle Humeau (Eiffel) to the keyboard, Hervé Toukour (The Very Big Small Orchestra) on violin and finally Jean – Paul Roy (Noir Désir) on guitar.
Black Market Flowers opens a new page for the group, paradoxically even more personal. There is talk of inner storms, lost friends, anger and love, rock and energy; all those emotions that make this disc a distillation of pure vitality and mirror of their music: hard, simple, beautiful and universal.
